10 Best Selling New Private Residential Projects 2024

In 2024, projects in the Rest of Central Region (RCR) and Outside Central Region (OCR) dominated the list of best-selling new launches. This was driven by strong demand from HDB upgraders, supported by a robust HDB resale market, according to Mark Yip, CEO of Huttons Asia.

Three of the top 10 best-selling projects were launched in November. Emerald of Katong was the top-selling project, selling 99% of its units within just two days from Nov 15-16. The 846-unit, 99-year leasehold development now only has six available units as of Dec 17.

In second place is Chuan Park, which sold 696 units (76%) in a single day on Nov 10. As of Dec 17, the project was 79% sold. The strong sales were attributed to the lack of new private condo launches in the neighbourhood since The Scala in 2010.

Lentor Mansion takes third place, with 75% of its units (217 units) sold during its launch weekend in March. Nine months later, the project has achieved 92% sales.

Nava Grove ranks fourth, with 65% of units sold during its launch weekend in mid-November, bringing total sales to nearly 70% by Dec 17.

In fifth place is Norwood Grand, with 84% of units (291 units) sold since its launch in October.

The 341-unit Hillhaven was one of the first projects to debut in 2024, and has sold 259 units (76%) as of Dec 17, placing it in sixth place.

Kassia on Flora Drive takes seventh place, with 180 units (65%) sold out of the 276 units in the project.

The eighth spot goes to Lentoria in Lentor Hills Estate, which has seen sales climb from 19% in the first sales weekend in March, to 66% with 177 units sold to date.

In ninth place is the 440-unit Sora at Yuan Ching Road in Jurong Lake District, with 134 units (30%) sold.

Rounding out the top 10 is Meyer Blue, which sold 58% (131 units) out of the 226 units in the project through private sales.

Four projects launched in 2023 also saw significant sales in the second half of 2024, with each moving over 200 units. These projects were able to capitalize on the launch of new developments in their respective neighbourhoods, drawing attention back to the area.

The biggest beneficiary of the launch of Emerald of Katong was The Continuum, a 816-unit freehold development at Thiam Siew Avenue. The project sold 233 units in 2024, with almost 60% of the sales occurring since November. It has achieved a take-up rate of 66% since its launch in May 2023.

Tembusu Grand, located across from Emerald of Katong, also saw strong sales, with 54% of its 638 units sold during its launch weekend in April 2023. It has since sold 204 units, with the majority sold after July when market sentiment improved in 3Q2024. As of Dec 17, Tembusu Grand is 91% sold, bolstered by the buzz around Emerald of Katong.

The 474-unit Hillock Green, located in Lentor Hills Estate, also performed well. Initially launched in November 2023, the project sold 27.6% of its units in its first weekend of sales. It has seen another 217 units sold in 2024, bringing its cumulative sales to 359 (76%). The launches of Lentoria and Lentor Mansion in March brought renewed attention to the Lentor Hills Estate, benefiting Hillock Green.

The 520-unit Pinetree Hill saw strong sales following the release of its second phase of units in September. The project sold 208 units this year, bringing cumulative sales to 374 (72%). It also benefited from the launch of Nava Grove in November, driving interest to the District 21 residential enclave.
